Yawn, another season, another star prospect.
All kidding aside, after a fantastic week with the Kitchener Rangers, and being named the OHL player of the week, Jeremy Bracco can add 'CHL player of the week' to his scrapbook.
From the CHL:
Bracco produced four multi-point performances last week for the Rangers who maintained their lead in the OHL’s Midwest Division standings earning six of a possible eight points. Bracco’s week was highlighted by a career-high five points on Thanksgiving Monday netting his first career hat-trick along with two assists as first star of an 8-4 win over the Guelph Storm. On Friday night he scored a goal and two assists as third star of a 6-2 win over the Saginaw Spirit, then tallied three assists on Saturday in a 5-3 road loss to the Owen Sound Attack. On Sunday he extended his season-long point-streak to six games with two assists as third star of a 3-2 road triumph over the Storm.
Bracco is playing so well right now, if he keeps it up it will be hard to leave him off Team USA for a second straight World Junior Championships.
Along as Dean Lombardi isn't in charge, anyway.
