Who:Toronto Maple Leafs v. New York Islanders

What: Game 49 of the regular season.

When: 7:00 PM

Where: Nassau Colliseum, Sportsnet-Ontario, and AM640

After shutting out the Islanders at home, the Leafs will look to take another two points from the conference's second worst team. With a win tonight, and a loss for the Devils (v. Buffalo) and the Caps (v. Boston), the Leafs could find themselves in 7th place tomorrow morning.

I think this will be an excellent test of Ron WIlson's coaching, as despite maintaining that he "doesn't match lines," Wilson put a lot of effort into making sure that Kulemin, Grabovski, Crabb, Phaneuf, and Schenn were out against John Tavares' line. Ron won't have the benefit of last change this time, so it'll be much tougher to get the matchups he wants.

There was no morning skate today, but I wouldn't be surprised if Wilson mixed up the lines to avoid accidentally getting the Tavares line against the defensively poor Lupul-Bozak-Kessel line. Despite "anonymous sources" to the contrary, Ron Wilson said following last night's game that Gustavsson is "probable" to get the start in net. Montoya is expected to start in net for the Islanders, but it's also unconfirmed. Please remember to keep your spin and unreadable homerism to a maximum in the comments.

Go Leafs Go!
