Most of you guys know that I love Battlestar Galactica.  It was a great series, and I still watch re-runs when I find them on TV.  But when it ended, it left a hole in my TV viewing.  I've tried to fill that hole with V and Flashforward, but both series look like they'll be cancelled after this first season.  We're finally watching last week's episode of Flashforward - Thursday nights, when it's on, is our puppy obedience class - and it just got dramatically better.  Why?  Well, one of my favourite characters on Battlestar Galactica was Gaius Baltar, who is either a hero or the bad guy depending on which fan you ask - showed up on Flashforward.  Well, not the character, exactly, but the actor.  And he's a great actor, just so good at being slimy but also likeable, and he's playing an intriguing character.  He's probably only on the show because Ronald D. Moore, a producer from Battlestar, works on Flashforward, but nevertheless, a brilliant piece of casting on this week's episode.
