My girlfriend Katie needs everybody's help. She has never been a big hockey fan (nor sports fan for that matter), but she's been subjected to many a Maple Leaf game over the past three years. Yesterday, she told me that the Leafs would be easier to follow if she had a favorite player. Who should she choose? After a lengthy discussion, we narrowed it down to four possibilities:
Tyler Bozak: Young first line player who figures to be an important part of the team going forward.
Luke Schenn: A cornerstone of the defense. First round pick.
Tomas Kaberle: Wily veteran. Soft hands
Jonas Gustavsson: The backbone. The long term success of this team may very well rely on his development.
