The Leafs were outclassed by the Chicago Blackhawks for two periods last night. After nine consecutive games where they earned at least a point, the loss at the ACC prevented Toronto from making up any ground on the 8th and final playoff spot. I doubt that anyone expected the Leafs to go undefeated the rest of the way. That said, how the Leafs respond on Tuesday against the New York Islanders will be more important than the outcome last night. Toronto doesn't have many games left against teams outside the playoff race, so winning those like Tuesday's are imperative. If they come out like they did against Chicago, the Buds could be in trouble. Let's hope that isn't the case.
