Per the Canadian Press, Mikhail Grabovski remained in New York City after Thursday night's game against the Rangers. He underwent testing for a possible stomach-related illness that Carlyle says has been an issue for about two years - that's right, Mikhail Grabovski put up two years of impressive performance through heartburn and "other discomfort." What a champ. It's unclear if Grabovski's fourth line ice time Thursday night was related to a flare-up of this illness, but it seems unlikely given his declining icetime throughout the season and given his strong performance in the Rangers game.
Oh, and it turns out that Lupul had "concussion related symptoms" that Carlyle says developed one to two days after the incident. Think of all the horror that could've happened if Carlyle had said they were screening him for concussion symptoms following the Flyers game. I mean, a whole lot of nothing might've happened. Glad we avoided it.
