PPP Game Preview
Matt Martin faces his old team tonight in Brooklyn. But he's brought a few buddies. After getting held off the score board last night the Hyman - Matthews - Nylander line is probably hungry for points.
The Islanders have their own rookie sensation in Anthony Beauvillier, drafted from the Q 28th OA in the 2015 draft he's getting top line minutes on Tavares' wing.
Who will be in net is up in the air with this weekend's Halak trade debacle spurring more rumours. However it sounds like an old friend will be back.
Official lineup announcement coming shortly, believe #Isles will have Greiss in goal and Kulemin in for Quine up front. Halak backing up.

Tonight is Rogers Hometown Hockey and the stop this week is Grand Falls-Windsor, Newfoundland & Labrador. There will be an intermission profile of Alex Faulkner, the first Newfoundlander to make the NHL. He was called up from Rochester to play 1 game for the Leafs in the 1961-62 season. He was traded to the Red Wings and eventually spent time in the old WHL (not the junior one) playing for the San Diego Gulls on a team with other important names in hockey history, like Willie O'Ree. In our own system we have one of the few active pro-hockey players from Newfoundland: Colin Greening.
