When exactly did the Sharks get boring? Remember when their GM was in a feud with Joe Thornton, or when Thornton was making jokes that only Vice Sports would print if he did it today?
What happened? Are they all too old? Are they all just tired from getting beat in the SCF last year?
NHL numbers claims the Sharks are the second oldest team in the NHL at an average age of 28.271. The Leafs are 26.566, the eighth youngest. So maybe that not even two-year difference is really just making them sluggish.
Let's hope the game isn't boring and the right team wins, but in the meantime...
