The Marlies hit the ice in Laval tonight to take on the Rocket at 7:30. The game will be on AHL TV at 7:30 if you’re a subscriber.
Laval is in second last in the North Division, and out of a playoff spot. The Marlies are in third place right now, fighting off both the Utica Comets and Belleville Senators to keep their playoffs spot. The top four teams in each division advance, but there are only two points between the Marlies and the fifth place B-Sens. Most teams have 16-18 games left to play.
In Marlies news today, the Leafs have re-signed Andreas Borgman.
In Leafs news, the fourth line has been revamped, and you can read about that and the rest of the lines in the preview:

Tonight’s game goes at 9 p.m., and this is the last late start, with an 8 p.m. game in Nashville the closest we come for the rest of the regular season. After that, there’s only one way to get to the western time zones.
There’s a bit of controversy about the Leafs new fourth line experiment. No one believes the heights they have listed for the players. One sure way to settle this is with lots of post-goal hugs, so we can compare, but until then, who is tallest?
Which player on the new fourth line is the tallest?
Nic Petan | 28 |
Trevor Moore | 93 |
Tyler Ennis | 8 |
Frodo | 64 |
