How’s everyone’s weekend going? Relaxing, calm, low stress? Same. Today is the day, it HAS to be the day, we find out who gets the rose from John Tavares.
I’m sure we all have had mobile notifications on for “The Insiders” on Twitter since Monday, but we can also tune into the television for some more coverage of 2018 NHL Free Agency.
TSN will have a Free Agency show from 11:00 am — an hour before players are officially allowed to sign — until 4:30 pm when the Toronto FC match begins. Their signing tracker can be found below.

Sportsnet also starts at 11:00 pm, but has a much more truncated schedule as the Canada Day Blue Jays game coverage takes over from 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Sportsnet will pick up free agency again at that time and go until 5:30 pm. Their signing tracker can be found below as well.

Basically, if we time it right, we’ll be able to watch continuously for six and a half hours!
Some news has already broken in the first few hours of the morning as Roman Polak, Tomas Plekanec, and James van Reimsdyk have all found new (or old) homes. Not officially, of course, but those deals definitely appear to be in place.
