First, here's your game in six:
Remember the old saying, "Hockey's great when people actually score goals?" Okay maybe it isn't an old saying but it may be someday. The Toronto Maple Leafs lost 1-0 to the Minnesota Wild last night despite holding the Wild to no PP shots twice and keeping the Wild from shooting for a quarter of the game.
Reimer did well in his first game back from injury, making 27 saves and the offense must have been still feeling shell shocked from getting dummied by the Jets the previous night.
It was on of those "meh" games to me. No one truly stood out, good or bad, and it's not one I'd watch again.
Oh, also, I now hate the coaches challenge, but I reserve the right to change my mind during the next game.
Stand outs
As I said earlier, no one really stood out, however Devan Dubnyk got a roughing minor, and it's always great to see goalies act like real people.
Matthew Dumba scored the only goal (that counted) of the game, scoring on the power play (Brad Boyes - Holding) from just above the faceoff circle to Reimer's right.

Peter Holland scored a goal, but Wild coach Mike Yeo challenged it and Holland was deemed offside before he got the puck, by like, half a step. Come on Mike!

Nice try Peter, but you were stretched too far I guess.
Post Game
Here are your post game comments, since the players have more to say than I do.

Next Game
The Maple Leafs head to St. Louis to play the Blues on Saturday night. The Blues are second in the central division with a 15-7-3 record. Remember this is the regular season, so they could win this one.
