After winning 3 games in a row, last week ended with a loss to the New York Rangers. Sucks to them but hey, it happens. It's also a yearly tradition for garbage goals to be let in and hopefully Bernier has gotten this years out fo the way early. The Avalanche aren't having the greatest of season so let's see if the Leafs can make Patrick Roy's head explode.'

The Avalanche come to town, struggling to stay above Calgary and Edmonton in the standings and too far out of a wild card playoff spot to bother. The dream team of Roy/Sakic doesn't seem to be living up to its hype at the moment, despite being saviours to the franchise. Whats the matter with the Avs? on paper they are a much better team, but this should be a close game. The Leafs should be as bad as they are in the standings, so no one is accusing them of under performing.

Leafs last game:
A 4-2 loss to the Rangers on Sunday night and it gave us this:

Sigh.

Colorado's last game:
They destroyed the Canadiens on Saturday night 6-1. SIX TO ONE. High 5 Colorado (which was the goal differential in the game). MHH recap is here.

Rabble Rousers:

THE MONSTER! CLEARLY TAKING A SHOT AT REIMER! BOIL HIM IN OIL! KICK HIM IN THE SHINS!

oh.

My thoughts:

Leafs win again, tanking crowd cries despair, Reimer ups his trade value.
