Tonight the Blues make their once a season trip to Toronto. It should be interesting as they are bringing along someone familiar: Olli Jokinen. It's still unclear if he will make his debut for the team tonight or not. The Blues may be jealous after hearing from him about all the perks players get in Toronto.
Jokinen back wearing familiar No. 13 w STL; did he consider wearing it in Toronto? "No, no, no, no, not a chance, didn't even cross my mind"

The sad part is they probably would have let him.
What disappointed me the most about the Leafs' Olli Jokinen era is that no member of the MSM asked him about the GIF that made him famous!
Olli isn't the only familiar face returning tonight; there's also Carl Gunnarsson. Gunnarsson has 2 goals and 9 assists this season, and a better Corsi For Percentage, and Fenwick For % Percentage, than any Leafs defenceman at even strength. In fact, according to war-on-ice, every Blues Defenceman has a better CF% and FF% than any Leafs defenceman at even strength this season. In all situations only Franson Rielly, and Gardiner beat some of the Blues D corps.
There's also our ex-Leaf Alex Steen who has racked up 51 points in 62 games so far this year.
On the other hand the Leafs have ex-Blue and wiener hat enthusiast Roman Polak, who was possibly in play to go back to the Blues before the trade deadline.
The Leafs lines for tonight aren't out as today's practice was optional and not many players showed up (because they have no heart!).
Jonathan Bernier looks to be in goal again tonight for the Leafs against St. Louis.

The last time these two teams met was January 17th, only 10 days after Carlyle was fired. The Leafs lost 0-3. The last time the Leafs beat the Blues was November 10, 2011, in a 3-2 shootout victory with Scrivens in net.
I suspect this will be a rough game for the Buds; which is great for Operation McTank!
If you want to check out the competition, you can go to St.Louis Game Time, and explain to them why it's Maple Leafs, not Maple Leaves.
