The Toronto Furies played back-to-back games against the Calgary Inferno on December 5 and 6
December 5
Hayleigh Cudmore played incredible the first game for her Inferno, finishing the game with two goals and one assist, helping Calgary beat Toronto 9-5.
She opened the scoring for the Inferno early in the first period, and followed-up with a nice goal to make it two on the night and put the Inferno up 8-3 late in the third period.
Bailey Bram, Elana Lovell (with a hat trick), Brittany Esposito, Louise Warren, and Jill Saulnier all contributed goals for the Inferno.
Furies star Natalie Spooner finished the night with two goals. Ashton Hogan, Kori Cheverie and Kelly Terry both scored during the game as well.
December 6
Toronto came into the game with refreshed with the previous loss to the Inferno out of their minds, and it paid off.
Once again, Natalie Spooner had a night to remember for the Furies, finishing the game with a remarkable five goals and one assist. Sena Suzuki also contributed a goal in the Furies 6-5 win against Calgary.
Heavily out-shot, Furies goalie Christina Kessler had her work cutout for her, facing 45 shots.
Hayleigh Cudmore finished the game with another goal, as did Jacquie Pierri and Louise Warren. Brianne Jenner scored twice, and Jill Saulnier had a standout game, capped off with three goals.
