Well that was an adventure yesterday. Hopefully those of you who were out and about the GTA weren't caught in a flood related travel snarl and got home safely, preferably with the power on. It looks like things are mostly back to normal this morning and there's no more deluge-level storms for coming in the forecast.

Speaking of draft picks, Leafs prospects Noah Chadwick and Easton Cowan are officially on the roster for the IIHF World Junior Summer Showcase. The event runs in Michigan from July 26 to August 3, and is notable for the four nations invited to narrow their roster selections closer to who will be invited to play in the IIHF World Junior Championship, which this year is in Ottawa.
