Happy Tuesday! We're in peak summer now and you know what that means, it's time for our world famous Maple Leafs Top 25 Under 25! It kicks off today with both an introduction to the voters and then the honourable mentions, all the prospects that didn't make the cut, and a few who got no votes at all.

The countdown begins tomorrow at #25 and continues then with one player each weekday through to the second week of September, with a review of your community vote every Saturday.

Of all the years I've been in on voting for this, it was one of the most challenging to select a whole list down to #25 without making very mildly educated guesses starting in the teens for players I had only seen only a few video clips. The Leafs prospect pool is certainly not a dry well, but it's a very different time now from when the under-25 group included Matthews/Marner/Nylander at 1/2/3.

In any case, it's still fun to take a look at all of the prospects, even distant ones, and imagine what can happen. We hope you enjoy it!
