We've got two Toronto teams playing hockey today! First up are the Toronto Sceptres with their home opener at the Coliseum. If you aren't going to the game (officially sold out, but there are some resale tickets and also standing room only tickets available now on Ticketmaster) then you can watch it on CBC or by streaming. Here's a handy flow chart they made for this.
Here's information on the Sceptres' roster:
Today they are facing the Boston Fleet, and here's their roster, which I am told look to have the best collection of goalies in the league:
This story and the accompanying video have a basic introduction to the Sceptres second season and where they stand.
Game time is at 2:00 p.m. at the Coliseum.
The Leafs are finishing up their Florida road trip in Tampa today with a game at 7:00 p.m. against the Lightning. Auston Matthews will be back, and it's expected that Matthew Knies will be playing too. That means someone will be bumped out to the press box, but it's not clear yet who that will be.
We'll have a full preview of that game out later this morning when the news from the morning skate comes out.

Oh, Mason. I still love you, but, come on.
Dallas ended up winning this one, but this goal setup by Makar is hilarious.

Remember it is a public transportation nightmare today: there is no subway service on the University line between St. Clair West and King (this means no trains at Union station); GO Transit's Lakeshore West line has no trains at all from Union to Oakville; and there is no streetcar service west of Bathurst Street that goes to the Exhibition. All of these have shuttle bus replacements and I wish you the best of luck using those, you'll need it.
