The Maple Leafs are back tonight after what feels like an eternity eternity of not playing, even though they had a game on Monday which I watched and recapped but it was a 10:00 p.m. ET start so it was all a blur.
The new-look, fresh-stench Panthers are in town with Brad Marchand on the team. This is gonna be a big game, especially with there still being a possibility of a first round playoff matchup between these two teams coming soon.
They will also be without Aaron Ekblad in case you missed this one.
Tonight's game is on TSN4. We'll have our preview out later this morning.
Meanwhile, the Marlies played a rare Wednesday game last night against the Providence Bruins who now with their new-look minty-scent roster. Fraser Minten got off only a single shot on goal for the Bruins, and was largely irrelevant in the game. The Marlies won it 4-2.
But you'll never guess who scored for the Marlies in the game!

The Marlies are playing back-to-back games against the Charlotte Checkers this weekend, with Saturday's game at Scotiabank arena, and Sunday's back at the Coliseum for St. Patrick's Day. Beware of continuing construction work disruptions to TTC service in the area.

Yeah, this is not good.
In the moment I thought it warranted more than a minor but didn’t get a great angle. This confirms it for me. A clearly intentional elbow to the back of the head shouldn’t just be a minor. pic.twitter.com/GCnCoobAwE
