The Toronto Marlies hosted the Utica Comets for the second time in two days as they kicked off the 2016-17 AHL season.
Down the Gardiner Expressway the Furies defeated the Blades 6-1 yesterday, completing their weekend back-to-back sweep after an OT win on Saturday.
