Great news for Leafs prospects Mitch Marner and JJ Piccinich, not so great news for Esleldo: The London Knights defeated the Niagara Ice Dogs in the OHL Championship Final. The Knights will now move on to the Memorial Cup.
Marner also won the Wayne Gretzky 99 Award for being the playoff MVP
In other Leafs prospect news Andreas Johnson appears to be feeling better. Head injuries are difficult to assess, so I don't think anyone is going to rush him back to the playoffs.
And speaking of the Calder Cup Playoffs, game 5 of the Marlies-Devils series is tonight. Tonight's winner will head back to Toronto for game 6 with a chance at eliminating the other. Buy your game 6 tickets with our 30% discount code "PPPMARLIES16"!

Blues 6 - Stars 1
The Dallas Stars uniforms are described as being the colour "Victory Green," but blue was the colour of victory last night, and it wasn't even close. The Stars had a goaltending meltdown, with Kari Lehtonen letting in 4 goals on 8 SOG in the first period, though one of those goals was overturned on a micro-offside challenge.

Antti Niemi started the second period, but he didn't help, letting in 2 more. With a 5-0 deficit entering the 3rd period you could tell the Stars already knew it was all over.
