The Blue Jays swept the Texas Rangers, winning their division and advancing to the ALCS. Their next opponent is either Cleveland or Boston; still to be determined.

The Ducks had Jonathan Bernier in net and Randy Carlyle running the show. They somehow won, 3-2 in overtime.
Bernier was good. And when the Leafs make the California road trip they better watch out for Jakob Silfverberg. He had this great goal, right off a faceoff.

In other news, today is technically Thanksgiving, though if you are like most Canadians you are today recovering from gorging, and busy googling recipes for turkey soup.
The Leafs first game is only 2 days away, in Ottawa. The home opener is Saturday. Don't forget the Marlies home opener is Saturday too. It's at 1:00PM, which is convenient if you want to see the Leafs later, or simply keep your Saturday night free.
