Last night Sidney Crosby tested the waters again to see if he really can get away with anything. After taking his stick to Ryan O'Rielly's bathing suit area in Buffalo, Crosby tried to remove Mark Methots finger by mashing it into a fine paste (DO NOT LOOK AT IT). If this goes unpunished next Crosby will try taling off his skate and stabbing someone with it.
This isn't great for Ottawa since Methot is the best non-Karlsson d-man they have.
It is great for a certain team who is just three points away from their playoff spot.
The Leafs head into a season that held zero expectations and now they could end up with home ice?
Hell yes.
Also last night more rookie records were set and others closed in on:
William Nylander has set a new @MapleLeafs rookie point streak record as his 1st per. assist gives him points in 10 straight games #TMLtalk

William Nylander's power play assist also ties Dan Daoust's rookie power play point record of 25, set in 1982-83. #TMLtalk
