Leafs things

Nazem Kadri had some...words about James Reimer and his goaltending.

That's a great sentiment and all, but I've loved this team since I was six and, well The Leafs have given me lots of things in return for my love (mainly frustration, heartbreak, and a deep, crushing, omnipresent sense of despair) but I don't think any of those things count as loving me back.

Kadri seems to have a lot to say about the Leafs goaltenders. Is something going on? Can we get an update from Basement Correspondent Species 1967 on this situation?

There were two games last night.

Edmonton beat Anaheim in OT, but not before Perry earned his 299th career goal in a very LOLOILERS way.

And then Perry earned his 300th career goal in a very LOLOILERS way.

The Department of Player Safety will probably take a look at this too.

Over on NBCSN it was "Wednesday Rivalry Night" meaning it was a game featuring two teams with general antipathy towards each other. In last night's nont-hot rivalry action the Penguins defeated the Habs on a shootout goal from Crosby.

That was Condon in net, and he definitely got off to a bad start, letting a goal 13 seconds in the first period.
