Holidays are objectively bad. You just have to pack all your work into four days, and then Friday comes and you don’t have time to waste online all day.
Meanwhile, the Leafs are starting to do things with the actual beginning of their development camp today. They will have some media availability, so there should be some “and, uh...” type interviews to watch.
Hayley Wickenheiser is in charge this year.
Hayley Wickenheiser, speaking ahead of #Leafs development camp, saying of Nick Robertson, "He's special in the sense of his intensity and the willingness to want to be perfect and great in every aspect of his life...one of the secrets for him I think is to dial it back at times."

That’s great advice! Uhhhhh.....
Dr. Hayley Wickenheiser is doing an emergency rotation at a downtown Toronto hospital while running Maple Leafs development camp. Worked last night.

In European news, Roni Hirvonen and Topi Niemelä start their season today, so soon there will be goal gifs!!!!
And in news drops to watch for at 5 pm: Jack Eichel is still a Sabre, Rasmus Dahlin, Quinn Hughes, Brady Tkachuk, Kirill Kaprizov, Elias Petterson, Robert Thomas, and some other guys I’ve never heard of are all unsigned.
TSN and SN should pick a name and spend a day pretending they play for the Leafs. They’ll be so busy, the rest of September will fly by.
Stay tuned for out T25 number 7 today, and until then, make up some Eichel to Vancover rumours.
