Last night it was announced that the Winnipeg Jets were moving their AHL affiliate to Winnipeg, probably taking on the Manitoba Moose name sine True North owns that name and logo. The Hamilton Bulldogs are moving to St. John's, I don't know if they'll keep the IceCaps name/logo but may as well, since they won't be on The Rock long. It's a holding station until the new AHL arena in Laval is ready then they will be moving in there. Hamilton won't be hockey free as the OHLs Belleville Bulls will be taking the Bulldogs spot in the Hammer. Odds are good they'll be renamed the Bulldogs, keeping the current AHL teams branding. What a night! Of course the question is now: Where will Erie end up moving to? Good thing a smart guy already asked that question! Also the Leafs still suck and play the "stats killers" Calgary Flames tonight.
