The Leafs B-ish team beat the Red Wings 2-0 last night. Nick Robertson scored both goals, while Max Pacioretty had two assists. They were flanking David Kämpf on the first line.

The underrated highlight of the night. I think I'm going to like Stolarz.

Here's a great graphic from Sportsnet on Robertson. And I don't think I could give a bigger argument for why the preseason (and a four game sample size) is meaningless better if I tried. But hey, maybe it's real and a third liner some day will have a 102 goal, 0 assist season.

Before the game, the Leafs made their first cuts, sending down their AHL/ECHLers ahead of Marlies training camp. Nick Abruzzese was also put on waivers in order to also be there.
