Legendary CBC play-by-play announcer Bob Cole passed away yesterday at the age of 90. He called games for five decades all the way until 2019. He typified excitement and wonder in hockey to many generations, a trait we dearly miss in the polished, stern tone nowadays. RIP, Mr. Cole.
