Toronto Maple Leafs starting goaltender Frederik Andersen left the game after 35 minutes after a hit to the head from Anaheim Ducks forward Corey Perry.
Corey Perry roundhouse kicks Frederik Andersen in the head while passing through his crease. No penalty called, but the referee did give him high praise on his form. 😐 pic.twitter.com/xdY5F4UWja

Andersen left the game and back up Curtis McElhinney has taken over the net. From the above gif Perry had to avoid Ron Hainsey in the crease and jumped over him flailing his skate out behind him, and catching Andersen in the head.
Hopefully his removal from the game is just precautionary.
Maple Leafs fans experienced panic like this back in 2011 when then Montreal Canadiens captain Brian Gionta elbowed starting goaltender James Reimer in the head.
We’re waiting on word From Andersen’s mother about his status, and I’m sure Dave Feschuk is on the case.
