If you didn't see the fantastic ending last night, then you really missed out on something special. No, I'm not talking about the Leafs game; I'm talking about Wrestlemania XXVI and the epic rematch between the Heart Break Kid Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker.
It was a match that started off with Shawn Michaels, as Chemmy so eloquently put it, giving the Nazem Kadri to The Undertaker. The next 25+ minutes of action saw at least 3 Sweet Chin Music, 3 Tombstones, 2 choke slams, a moonsault from the top rope onto the announcers table, a monstrous Last Ride, Hells Gate, and the big flying elbow. The epic battled culminated with Shawn Michaels gesturing the Columbian necktie to the Dead Man before getting Tombstoned one last time, thus "forcing" his retirement from the WWE.
Even if you're not a wrestling fan (It's still real to me damn it!) you have to appreciate HBK's effort at the end. Even though he knew it was over, he would not go quietly into the night. This is a great example for the Leafs to follow. Sure the playoffs are an impossibility, but that doesn't mean we have to go out as chumps. Let's go out as brawlers who fought tooth and nail to the bitter inevitable end.
