The Toronto Maple Leafs drafted Daniel Brodin with the 146th pick. He split the season between the junior and senior teams at Djurgardens. NHL.com identified him as a possible sleeper pick from the club. Another European that will spend a couple of seasons overseas. We'll check back in in 2013.

Brodin plays with plenty of intensity. Has good speed, drives the net, is willing to shoot the puck and plays the body. Has an edge to his game and is a valuable player for any team.
