So the Boston Bruins sweep the Philadelphia Flyers and move on to face the Tampa Bay Lightening in the Eastern Conference Finals. In doing so, the Bruins move four wins away from the Cup finals and gifting the Leafs an extra 2nd round pick in next year's draft. I think I can live with that. But what are the Leafs looking at for the first round of June's draft? MLHS examines four possible names for the Leafs, including Mark McNeill from the WHL:
A big kid at 6’2, 210 lbs, McNeill is a ‘Burke-type Player’ if I ever saw one. A strong two-way center, McNeill uses his size to his advantage to protect the puck. He’s a playmaker by trade, but isn’t exactly a flashy player. He keeps the game simple.
Should be quite the interesting first round this year. More links after the jump...
