Matt Frattin, it seems, is forever destined to remain in Toronto. From Toronto to Los Angeles to Columbus to Ottawa to... actually still in Toronto, the 28-year-old's rights may now be owned by Ottawa, but for now at least, he'll still be contributing to this season's best AHL team.
Frattin will also be a free agent after this season, so it seems unlikely he'll ever really be in Ottawa's plans. That hasn't stopped Ottawa from taking an interest in him, though - just a different part of Ottawa.

Someone at the Canadian Department of National Defence edited Frattin's Wikipedia page to make sure people knew he was staying with the Marlies. But even though he won't be helping to defend the Senators (any kind, really) from attackers, at least we've got up to date, accurate information on him.
Thank you, Canadian Department of National Defence.
