Calle Rosen played four games for the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2017, and he took one NHL assist to the Marlies with him where he’s had nearly two full seasons of excellent play.
With his callup to the Leafs for tonight’s game, he started off the game in exactly that excellent form, aiming several shots at the net (only one of which made it to the official scorer’s tally — it’s one of those games) but I saw them, and Robin Lehner, the Islanders goalie saw them, but he didn’t get this one:
Calle Rosen opened the scoring vs the Islanders in the game the Leafs can clinch the playoffs. Welcome to the NHL, Calle, please never leave again.
