Matchup

The Leafs (7-10-4) host the Boston Bruins (10-8-1) in the second leg of a home-and-home series with the B's. The Leafs will look to take a split after suffering a 2-0 loss at the TD Garden on Saturday. While James Reimer was extraordinary, the Leafs were often hemmed in their own zone and playing with fire all night. Zdeno Chara made them pay with less than four minutes remaining in the game. Brad Marchand added the empty netter to finish the night with as many goals as dirty knee-on-knees.

Probable Leaf Lineup

Only potential lineup change of note: Nick Spaling appears to be returning from injury, which means Byron Froese will be scr-

Lol jk no. That wouldn't happen. Daniel Winnik is scratched for tonight's game. James Reimer gets his 11th start in 12 games in November because he has been just okay lately.

Matthias - Bozak - Parenteau

Grabner - Spaling - Lupul

Holland - Froese - Boyes

Probable Boston Lineup

The Bruins are likely to use the same lineup as Saturday. Tuukka Rask is the likely starter again.

The lone question for Boston will be whether Landon Ferraro, claimed on waivers from Detroit Sunday, will be in the lineup. If so, it would be the second time this season in which TSN colour analyst Ray Ferraro has called a game in which his son has played (the first was the Leafs hosting Detroit on Nov. 6), so that would be kinda cool.

Brad Marchand - Patrice Bergeron - Jimmy Hayes

Matt Beleskey - David Krejci - Loui Eriksson

Ryan Spooner - Joonas Kemppainen - Brett Connolly

Zac Rinaldo - Max Talbot - Tyler Randell

Zdeno Chara - Zach Trotman

Dennis Seidenberg - Colin Miller

Torey Krug - Andrew McQuaid

Key To The Game

I dunno, maybe the Leafs should consider....umm, not getting hemmed into their own zone for a long period of time? And while we're at it, maybe they should also think about not letting Chara and his 300 mph super rocket slapshot get the puck all alone by the hashmarks?! I feel like these things would make them a more successful hockey team tonight.

Prediction

As the lone ex-Leaf in the lineup, Jonas Gustavsson somehow scores a goal from the bench.
