Boston didn't show up until the second period tonight and though they left with two points I don't think squeaking by the Leafs on goals on two weird bounces should inspire confidence heading into the postseason. Good on them for playing a defensive style to make up for their lack of scoring talent but every Bruins game has been dull dull dull.
Colton Orr opened the scoring with a ridiculous goal that considering the source we should chalk up to "dumb luck". The Bruins equalised a period later when Exelby blocked a Gustavsson rebound and then failed to tie up Satan. The Bruins won in OT when a Chara slapshot hit Satan's stick and ended up in the net.
Sad result for Jonas Gustavsson who stopped 28 of 30 to give his team a chance in this one. Toronto plays their final home game Tuesday night against Philly.
ps. Hilarious to see Lucic wait to throw a punch at Phaneuf until the linesmen were in the way.
