Brad Boyes is someone who likely knows not to take the NHL for granted. The Florida Panthers bought him out, and he had to earn his way back into the NHL via a professional tryout with his hometown Toronto Maple Leafs.
He definitely earned it, though. And now, he's doing something better than proving his worth on the ice: he's proving his worth off it as well.

It looks like Boyes is bringing in patients from East General to Leafs games, and it also looks like Boyes is pretty awesome for doing so. Hopefully this keeps up as long as he's a Leaf - it's a great thing to do.
