So, I think we can all agree that the best part of last night’s Toronto Maple Leafs game, other than fun, actual hockey stuff like goals, was Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner singing along to Livin’ on a Prayer on the bench.
You know, the song that came out in 1986? And Marner and Matthews were born in 1997? Anyway.
It was a whole thing.

Well, as it turns out, Bon Jovi noticed. And Bon Jovi liked it.
Not bad, @Marner93 @AM34, not bad at all! https://t.co/rzk1RPNQ43

Not that we can actually hear the two, but the effort it looks like they were putting in - Marner in particular - is outstanding. Game recognize game. (They both retweeted it, too, so they’re probably enjoying this.)
No clue if this means future singing endeavours for Matthews and Marner, but maybe this means more Bon Jovi at the ACC?
Too bad the actual band was just here on Oct. 17 - they’ve gotta come back now. They know whose jerseys to wear.
