In game one of the WHL Finals last Friday, Toronto Maple Leafs centre prospect Adam Brooks was on the receiving end of a huge open ice hit by Seattle’s Turner Ottenbreit:

Brooks hasn’t played in a game since then, and in his recap of game four Greg Harder of the Regina Leader-Post said that Brooks is out with a concussion.
This is Brooks’ second injury of the playoffs, he missed a lot of the second round series vs Swift Current as well. The Regina Pats captain improved on his 120 point total from last year by scoring 130 points this year. In the 16 games he’s played this post-season he’s tallied 18 points as well.
