Yesterday, the Leafs held an outdoor practice at Trinity Bellwoods Park, and had a chance to answer a few more light-hearted questions. Mark Zwolinski, over at The Toronto Star, asked each Leaf what their best Christmas gift ever was, both given and received.
Unfortunately, Colton Orr and Phil Kessel were not available, and for some reason, Zwolinski has not put names beside any of the quotes, so we're not sure who is who, but that doesn't mean that there aren't some good ones. At least we know that this one has to be one of Jonas Gustavsson or Fredrik Sjostrom:
Best given: "This is kinda funny . . . I gave my sister the same present two years in a row. I found it in the house and rewrapped it. We made stuff for each other and I just gave the thing I made her back to her the next year. Back home in Sweden, you learn how to sew and woodworking. I thought she wouldn’t notice, but she did."
