The Leafs will look to continue their early season success against the uglier-than-Yeti boys from Denver. Take the jump for some thoughts on the matchup and the projected rosters.

Jean-Sebastien Giguere and his surgically repaired groin make a visit to the ACC tonight. The Avalanche are coming off a big shootout win over the Habs on Saturday, and have scored an impressive 17 goals through their first five games. I caught a bit of the Avs-Habs showdown and I wasn't really impressed by Colorado. Mostly, Carey Price stunk up the joint. One thing the Leafs do need to be concerned about is the penalty kill. Colorado has six powerplay goals so far and their top-six is fairly talented. Matt Duchene and future Leaf Paul Stastny provide one of the best one-two punches at center in the NHL, and they're flanked by some decent goal scorers. David Jones and Milan Hejduk will need to be watched closely by the Leafs defense.

On the other hand, the Leafs have Phil Kessel.
