I have been remiss in not welcoming SB Nation's latest hockey blog Second City Hockey earlier. After the matchup against the Hawks, our former Snorris Division foe, I lamented the fact that an NHL team with a Stanley Cup drought longer than the Leafs did not have adequate representation among the intertubes.
This brings SB Nation's growing stable of hockey sites to seven. Pretty soon we'll be busting out of the "General" category.
It's been a pretty good couple of weeks for Hawks fans. First, Toews and Kane are looking like duelling Calder Trophy candidates, then Rocky Wirtz shows his late father that TV is not evil and now a hockey blog. Things are looking up for a fanbase that was eroding with every passing seaason.
