So I figured that I would follow in the great Deadspin's footsteps and provide a round-up of interesting articles in the morning with a little commentary.

Now there are four other teams in the running. What good are unlimited financial resources if they aren't used creatively to secure talent.
Howard Berger has not quite learned to read. Leaf fans don't think that Mats owes Toronto or its fans anything. However, people are hoping that his love for the franchise extends to taking a trade in order to return to an improved situation in the summer.
Dave Shoalts reports that it will be Robbie Earl who will be the latest player called up in an attempt to re-make the Leafs in the Marlies' image.
