Great, on the back of another great defensive performance the Leafs travel to Alphabet Arena where they are either destroyed or have their still beating hearts ripped out of their chests.
I am sure tonight's game will give Leafs fans nightmares. Then again, the team did surprise last year with a few magical games (including that last one for the first 40-ish minutes) so maybe they can do the same.
Either way, there will be some good news coming out of this day as Wellwood is nearing a return. Let's hope the medical staff have done a better job with this iteration of the injury.
Raycroft will likely be getting the start tonight as the battle to be the Leafs' starter continues until God knows when.
