Finland


Team Finland is coached by Antti Pennanen, the former junior coach, he is the fulltime coach of the men's team in his first year. His assistants are Tuomo Ruutu, from the Florida Panthers and Mikko Manner who has worked with the national team in the past and is also the head coach of HPK in the Liiga.

Finland has had to make several injury replacements and has fewer practices with their final roster than any other team.

The Game

The Finns have a good forward corps, but the USA has a better one. Juuse Saros has to goalie USA, but then that's Connor Hellebuyck in the other net. This looks like USA's game to walk away with.

But it's hockey, you never know until you actual play the game.

The rink announcer in Montréal asks the fans to respect the players. I'd like to see the fans here respect their fellow fans, no matter what country they come from or live in. We can all start saving the political snark for the FTB.
