Thank God! The NHL is going to change the schedule with proposals being presented in November. Having Crosby, in his third year, only now making his debut in Western Canada is a farce. Furthermore, the Leafs have lost their 6 point road trip of Western Canada.
The TSN.ca article has a few options but one of the best proposals (and sadly probably most impossible) was put forth by David Johnson over at Hockey Analysis.
Whether the Board of Governors can overcome the influence of teams like the Devils that love being able to travel to most of their games by bus is another issue.
