Tonight is the seventh matchup of the year between the Leafs and Bruins. Unfortunately for the Leafs they don't have the same kind of dominance that the Habs have had over the beantowners or they'd be ensconced in a playoff spot. Luckily for the Leafs, they're on a three game winning streak against the team that they are chasing.

Here's a look at the previous matchups this year:

November 16 - Leafs 2 at Bruins 5: Herpes was born on this day!
November 21 - Leafs 2 v. Bruins 4: Tuukka Rask begins a career of killing the Leafs with his first NHL win.
December 8 - Leafs 1 v. Bruins 2: Leafs miss the net more than they hit it as they struggle with Boston's innovative "Crowd Everyone In The Crease" defence.
January 17th - Leafs 3 at Bruins 2 SO: This is when it became clear that Toskala was too good for this team to tank and that the Leafs were not going away quietly into the night.
February 16 -  Leafs 4 v. Bruins 3 OT: This game capped off the re-birth of Darcy Tucker. Actually, it probably marked the return to full health but since then he's been the MotherTucker that everyone loves to hate and we just love.
March 6 - Leafs 8 at Bruins 2 : Looking back, the lucky bounces in this game might have signalled that this run is not doomed to failure. Or it meant nothing. Eitherway, 8 goals over the next two games should give the Leafs 2 wins.
On the plus side, Marc Savard is out for tonight's game and possibly Thursday's matchup. Of course, like the plausible predictions, none of this matters if the Leafs do not take care of business tonight. Until they fall though, we're still dreaming.
