With the 157th overall in the 2024 draft, the Leafs selected a goalie, 19-year-old Timofei Obvinstsev. He has played for a couple of years in the CSKA system in the MHL for Krasnaya Armiya Moskva. He was not on NHL Central Scouting's list of goalies, so the Leafs found this one all on their own.
He is listed at 6'4" and 179lbs.
