Memorial Cup Day 4
Rimouski Oceanic vs. Kelowna Rockets
7:30PM ET - Sportsnet/TVA (Canada)

Yesterday's Oshawa victory is recapped here, and the video highlights are here. You can follow the game stats and listen live here at the Memorial Cup website.
Yesterday, under the watchful eyes of Mark Hunter and Kyle Dubas, several juniors players shone in the third game of the Memorial Cup. Oshawa defenseman Stephen Desrocher scored the game-winning goal with 1:53 left in 1OT, leading the Generals to clinching their berth in the semi-final round.
But before Desrocher scored his goal, Cole Cassels won an important face-off (despite an injury) that set up Desrocher, and earned Cassels an assist on the game winner.
Remparts' goaltender, Montreal Canadiens prospect Zach Fucale, stopped 48 of 50 shots in the losing effort, earning well-deserved praise from the opposing team: "Fucale is going to be a great (NHL) goalie," Desrocher said. "You just hope for the best when you get it on net."
The Generals deciphered how to score on Fucale by getting defensemen through to the net.
Will the Rockets or the Oceanic do the same today, solving the opposing goaltenders to help them earn one game toward the two needed to clinch a semi-final berth?
There is already a goaltending issue arising with Rimouski, with coach Serge Beausoleil indicating that he'll start backup Louis-Philip Guindon tonight instead of Dallas Stars prospect Philippe Desrosier, perhaps due to Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Generals.
Of interest to Maple Leafs fans is, of course, Rimouski's Frederik Gauthier. After winning World Juniors and the QMJL's President's Cup, a Memorial Cup is the only bit of bling remaining to cap off a rapidly improving junior career. In his most recent game against the Generals, Gauthier's hard work on skating and offense paid off, especially in the third, that saw him knock the puck off Oshawa's Michael McCarron and skate it into the offensive zone to set up teammate Jan Kostalek's tying goal.
On the Rockets' side, Jackson Whistle has been strong in net, but the issue has instead been with penalties. In their last game against the Remparts, the team's top scorers (including Edmonton Oilers prospect Leon Draisaitl) combined for 28 penalty minutes before falling 4-3.
