The two results comparisons are up here and here so take a peek and leave your thoughts or any suggestions for changes in the comments.

The Leafs kick off a stretch that will see the team play away from the friendly confines of the Air Canada Centre in eleven of the next sixteen games. Since fans are the cause of all of the Leafs' problems the team is about to go on a tear. The actual good news is that the Leafs' penalty kill is ranked 9th on the road (85.4%) but that's tempered by a tepid powerplay that is ranked 22nd (12.8%).

The Star noted that this will be only the seventh meeting between the two clubs since the 1999-2000 season which is another spotlight on some shoddy scheduling by the league. I actually watched a bit of a North Stars - Leafs matchup from 1993 on LeafsTV the other night. It was an entertaining matchup as the Leafs played the kind of hockey that they have been trying to achieve this year: defensively sound and hard hitting with a side of aggressive offence.

Once again No One Worthy took the nod for Leafs' Player of the Game as no one was inclined to make a case for anyone else. Remember to put your guesses for who will score take the first shot, get the first penalty, and score the first goal in the comments. I'll keep a running tally of the results in the right sidebar. For the Bruins game the winning predictions were: Shot - Tucker, Penalty - Sundin, and Goal - McCabe. This is also getting tracked in the sidebar. We've doubled the number of participants but no one has been able to rack up many points so join in now before everyone's guessing abilities improve.

As always, the comment section is a wonderful place to vent and rage between periods or make hopeful predictions that you can tout in the future if they happen to come to pass. Each period and overtime/shootout gets their own section so just reply to the relevant section's main post and as much as it hurts try to refrain from swearing despite Herpes' best efforts to make you turn the air blue. All you need to get started is to set up an account to comment so register and share your thoughts.
