The Leafs host divisional rival Buffalo tonight. Kronwall and Stralman will both be in the lineup and Maurice himself has stated that Stralman has been making it tough to cut him from the senior squad.
Kronwall himself has said that he is in the best shape of his life after injuries robbed him of startings spots the last two seasons.
They'll be the pair to keep an eye on tonight as they fight to prove that they belong in the top 6.
In the forward ranks John Pohl, who scored a beauty against the sens and is leading the team in scoring, and Jiri Tlusty, who has shown glimpses of a bright future, will continue to fight it out for a spot among the top 12.
Tonight's lineup, aside from the individual battles and injuries, is looking very close to the final roster. Training camp starts tonight.
